@Swallowchllorox Yeah, Suboxone is great from an addicts perspective because it gives you a nice, low-level high. But it's a powerful opiate, and getting off of it cold turkey is very, very difficult. Withdrawals are intense and long lasting. I switched from suboxone to kratom for a month. Then I took small doses of suboxone for three days to avoid kratom withdrawals and - bingo - i skipped 95% of the withdrawals. That's my recommendation to those trying to stop suboxone. And give NA a try.

@Swallowchllorox All the things I thought I'd never do. Primarily NA meetings. I finally was able to quit everything when I realized how transitional the withdrawals and protracted withdrawals are. Imagine if you were told you had cancer but you could cure it in six months with a little hard work. Would you do it?Sure, the addiction is still there, but you start to feel happy again after a few months. Suboxone did nothing but keep me high and stall my recovery for three years.

I know there are plenty of kids - like I was five years ago - going online, drooling over pictures of pills, reading erowid stories and looking in everyone's medicine cabinet's.
